Australia knocked out of 20/20 Cricket World Cup

Didn't get to see today's matches but was surprised to learn that Australia lost their match to Sri Lanka. I was hoping they would have done like England and pulled one back to keep the status in the group interesting. However it was always going to be a do or die situation for Group D as they are the only group without an ICC Associate member team.
